Title: Taxonomy of Social Engineering Methods

Abstract: Social engineering is convincing people using social tactics to do things they would not otherwise do. There are many ways to accomplish such a goal; in this presentation, phishing, pretexting, baiting, and methods of unauthorized entry will be discussed in the context of specific attacks, such as the RSA SecurID breach, the US military Operation Buckshot Yankee, and the Salahis' gatecrashing of a White House reception.
